Offered is a black belt that Elvis Presley took off and gave to noted Elvis collector Mike Moon at a party in his Las Vegas suite after a concert in the mid 1970's. The accompanying "Elvis & Hollywood Legends Museum" COA states that "This belt was given to him directly by Mr. Presley at a party Mr. Presley's suite at the Las Vegas Hilton after a show. Mr. Moon commented to Elvis that he liked the belt. Elvis then promptly removed it and said,'here you go but you can't have the buckle, I've promised that to someone else.'" As Mike recounted many times over the years, this belt is actually the very first Elvis item in his collection--the interaction is what inspired him to start collecting Elvis artifacts and led to his establishing one of the world's largest collections. The belt measures 41 inches long and is 1 1/2 inches wide. It shows sign of heavy use, but is intact minus the buckle as described above. Excellent to Mint condition.
