Offered is an Elvis Presley owned long sleeve dress shirt, with high 1970's collar and beautiful flower pattern. The shirt was given by Elvis to his cousin Patsy Presley, who worked at Graceland for years during Elvis' career. The original tagging is intact and reads "Anderson-Little" and size "M". This style of nylon dress shirt was all the rage in the early 1970s, but few people could have pulled off wearing it like Elvis could! Patsy eventually sold the shirt, and a number of other items, to noted Elvis collector Tom Salva in 1982. A copy of the original bill of sale is included, and it lists "3 long sleeve dress shirts" as the second item, with the offered shirt described as "1 beige paisley Anderson-Little Brand". (We'll forgive the description of "paisley"--there were a TON of paisley dress shirts being worn at that time!) The shirt is also accompanied by a letter signed by Mr. Salva confirming the 1982 transaction. The size "M" shirt presents with signs of wear but no serious distresses. Near Mint condition.
