The offered 14K gold and diamond ring was owned and worn by Elvis Presley, and he gifted it to his bodyguard Sam Thompson in 1977 while in his office upstairs at Graceland. The ring sports an interesting snakeskin shank pattern--it's a highly unusual design choice--we cannot think of another piece of Elvis' jewelry that has a snakeskin patter-- it creates a powerful image. The 24 diamonds are very small, but the field they fill on the ring's face presents brilliantly. The ring is accompanied by a letter from Sam Thompson explaining the circumstances of receiving the ring from Elvis. It read in part:

...in January 1977, while talking with Elvis upstairs at Graceland, I admired a ring that Elvis was wearing. He smiled and took it off and said "it's yours" and handed it to me. The ring is 14K yellow gold, has what appears to be approximately 20 small diamonds, and is about a size 10. It has been in my possession since that day in 1977.

The size 10 ring weighs 4.5 grams and presents with only mild wear. The inner band is stamped "14K". Near Mint condition.
