Offered is Elvis Presley's 1950's bicep strap with his initials "EP" monogrammed on the side. Elvis wore this while roller skating with his friends at The Rainbow Skate Rink in Memphis. Elvis would rent out the whole place for his outings when the gang would do their best to kill each other! ELvis gave the strap his dear friend and superfan Gary Pepper, and was initially sold with the rest of Gary's estate at auction in 2009. (A copy of the page from that catalog is included with this lot.) In a famous photo taken when Gary came to visit Elvis on the set of his film Flaming Star in 1960, Gary can be seen wearing the strap on his wrist--a copy of the photo is also included. Additionally, a signed letter from Joe Esposito is included and reads "Elvis had several leather wristbands designed with his initials embossed at the top in both natural and black leather hides. This tan leather wristband was given to Tankers Fan Club president Gary Pepper in the early to mid 60s." The strap measures 19 inches long and presents with several stains and areas of discoloration. A piece of leather was added to the reverse for reinforcement. Very Good condition.
