The offered brown leather Florsheim brand ankle boots were owned by Elvis Presley until he gifted them to his bodyguard Dave Hebler, who worked for Elvis from 1972 to 1976. The boots are a classic 1970's Elvis Presley cool look--he owned countless pairs of ankle cut boots of various styles and colors. He wore them on and off stage, though this pair is squarely from his personal wardrobe. His shoe size could vary slightly depending on the brand of shoe, but he was generally size 11. There are many pairs of shoes and boots in the Graceland Archive of this size.

The accompanying hadwritten and signed letter from Dave Hebler reads  "My name is Dave Hebler and for a number of years I was Elvis Presley's personal bodyguard. On one occasion, Elvis gave me a number of items from his personal clothes closet. One of the items was a pair of brown leather boots with zippers. Sincerely, Dave Hebler."

The size 11 shoes, "D" width, present with heavy use on the soles, but the interior and upper leather areas remain clean and supple. Excellent to Mint condition.
