Offered is an Elvis Presley stage-used yellow satin scarf given to his friend Kathie "Kitten" Spehar from the stage at the Las Vegas Hilton. Kathie had first seen Elvis at a concert in New York. Her accompanying letter details meeting Elvis and reads in part "I have been in the entertainment business my whole life as an actress, singer, dancer and later an agent/manager for major celebrities and a producer of shows. I was lucky enough to know and be a friend of Elvis for several years thanks to Red West who I met after a show in Buffalo NY in 1973. Red put my sister and I on a list of people who could see Elvis after his shows and we were invited to the suite at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel (also known as the International Hotel) many times after his shows and many other places while he was on tour." The offered scarf was one of several that Elvis presented to Kathie during concerts in Las Vegas--this one was most-likely given to Kathie during the 1973 Summer Festival and is accompanied by the round menu used during those shows at The Hilton, as well as a souvenir photo of Elvis. Also available as the previous lot in this auction are Elvis' personal custom "TCB" sunglasses that he gave Kathie!. The scarf measures 32 3/4 inches square and presents Near Mint condition.
