Offered is an Elvis Presley stage-worn 29-diamond 14K gold ring which he gave to his longtime friend and Memphis Mafia member Joe Esposito. The ring was part of the legendary Jimmy Velvet collection in his "Elvis Presley Museum", and it is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that reads in part:

Elvis Presley Diamond, Gold Ring-Composed of twenty-nine full-cut diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 1.50 cts., forming an oval-shaped set within a textured 14K yellow gold ring mount. Elvis wore this ring and later gave it to Joe Esposito.

In accompanying photos of Elvis performing on different occasions in 1972, this or a very similar ring can be seen on his hand. The distinct arrangement of the diamonds and oval shape make the ring particularly recognizable. The first photo shows Elvis wearing his "Lucky Suit" (or "Blue Swirl") Jumpsuit and dates from 1972. The other photos are from The Chicago Stadium, June 17 1972, and The Henry Levitt Arena in Wichita, Kansas, on June 19, 1972. He wore the identical ensemble of his White Two-Piece suit with Black Pockets and paisley shirt for both shows--and the assortment of jewelry for both shows appears to be the same. The size 8 ½ ring weighs 17.03 grams, and on the inner band is stamped “14K”. The ring shows signs of moderate use but has no defects. Near Mint condition.
