Offered is Elvis Presley's elaborate and LARGE "Concord" brand presentation ship's clock originally offered in the 1999 Graceland Archives Auction at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The original catalog listing indicates this was from Elvis' office in his Palm Springs, California home. The deep red mahogany case has two lids, one for viewing the timepiece through an inner glass window, and a second to access the clock body itself. The fine clock was produced in the style that would have been used on ships, with the body of the clock suspended on a brass gimbal to accommodate the ships movements on the open sea. The piece is accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity from Graceland Archives, labeled lot "C12" from the auction. Items from this auction are considered the GOLD STANDARD of provenance for Elvis Presley artifacts, as all the items came directly out of the Graceland Archives. Accompanied by its original storage box. The wooden case measures 6 x 6 x 5 1/2 inches, and the clock itself is 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The clock appears to be in working order, but has not been tested. Near Mint condition.
