Offered is what many Elvis Presley collectors consider the ultimate artifact to acquire: an original 14K gold "TCB" necklace. This example was gifted from Elvis to the family member of a very close associate. The necklace comes from Elvis' Memphis jeweler Lowell Hays, the very man who made "TCB" necklaces for Elvis in the 1970s. His signed letter reads "This is to certify that the 14K TCB necklace accompanying this letter was made by me from the same mold I used when I made it for Elvis Presley. It was sold back to me by the person Elvis gave it to. Yours truly, Lowell Hays." The original owners name is being kept private at Mr. Hays request. While the original "TCB" necklaces were created by jeweler Schwartz & Ableser in California, during the early 1970s, Elvis requested Lowell Hays begin making them for him at his Memphis store. This is a perfect example of one of the most sought-after pieces of Elvis Presley owned jewelry. The pendant presents with "14K" still visible on the reverse and measures 1 5/8 inches in length. The distinct, original 14K gold chain measures 24 inches in length. The pendant presents with moderate wear, but no damage. Near Mint condition.
