The offered six cards hail from the very tough 1954-55 11-card set of Baltimore Bullets that was sponsored by Gunther Beer, and five of the offered cards have been signed! All are encapsulated by Beckett:

  • Clair F. Bee (Coach), BVG VG-EX 4/BAS Authentic Autograph;
  • Ray Felix, BVG Authentic/BAS Authentic Autograph;
  • Al Roges,  BVG Authentic/BAS Authentic Autograph;
  • Jim Fritsch,  BVG Authentic/BAS Authentic Autograph;
  • Rollen Hans,  BVG Fair 1.5/BAS Authentic Autograph; and
  • Ed Miller,  BVG Good 2;

These black and white cards measure approximately 2 5/8" by 3 5/8". The fronts feature a black and white posed player photo. The question "What's the good word," is written across the card top. A Gunther Beer bottle cap and the player's name are superimposed on the player's chest. The back has the words "Follow the Bullets with Gunther Beer" at the top, with biographical information and career summary below. A radio and TV notice on the bottom round out the card back. This set is very hard to put together, and a number of signed cards have show up in recent years. This may indicate that they were distributed in the stadium during games. A great opportunity to finish more than half the set!
