This is a very nice selection of Elvis Presley souvenir, fan club and movie studio issued photos, all dating from the 1950s. The group includes: Moss Photo Service (©1956 Elvis Presley Enterprises) (2 - 4 x 5 inch, 3 - 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch); 1956 Moss Photo Service Photo Postcards of Elvis and DJ Sleepy Eyed John (2 - 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches); 1956 Uncut Photo Sheets (2); 1956 Mail Order Publicity Photos (2); 1956 Studio-Issued Love Me Tender 8x10 inch Photos (3); and 1958 Studio-Issued King Creole 8x10 inch Photos (4). The Moss Photo Service photos were sold where other EPE merchandise was sold, but some of the larger photos here were only availble through mail order or from fan clubs. The film-related photos were sent to movie theaters, not unlike movie posters, and there were often anywhere from 10 to 20 different shots sent out for each film. This is fun grab bag of various examples of Elvis photos of the era. The Moss photos are very high grade with little wear, and the other photos present with few defects except some toning. The King Creole photos are more toned and have some corner and edge wear. Excellent condition overall.
