Elvis’ Christmas Album is one of the most sought-after records from Elvis Presley’s 1950s LP catalog. The record’s outer sleeve is condition-sensitive, with its faux “leather” binding that is prone to cracking, as in these examples. One has red tape over the spine to cover the cracking. On all four examples, the vinyl’s matrix numbers and RCA labels indicate that the records were made in the original year of release, 1957 and are Indianapolis pressings, as well, where the first copies were pressed. The vinyl grades VG overall, with some lesser.
