Offered is a stunning, high grade copy of Elvis Presley's 45 RPM Sun Records single #217 “I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone” and “Baby Let's Play House”. The record was released by the Memphis label on April 10, 1955, as Elvis was ascending as a regional star, and it was his fourth of the five records he released before moving to RCA. This particular copy of the single is defined as a Memphis pressing because of the small, circular indentations in the labels on both sides. These are holes in the stamped vinyl created by the master stamper made from acetate struck on the Presto brand lathe Sam Phillips used at the time in his studio. Later copies without these so-called "delta" marks (there are three of them that form a triangle, or the Greek letter "delta") were stamped at other plants in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. The record measures 7 inches in diameter and presents in very clean Near Mint condition.
