The offered U.S. Army World War II uniform was worn on screen by Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and it includes the military shirt, pants and canvas boot covers. Jackman wore the outfit in the WW II scene in the opening montage of the film which shows Wolverine and Sabretooth (played by Liev Schreiber) fighting in every major U.S. war since the 19th Century. Jackman is seen leaving his troop transport and storming the beaches at Normandy wearing the offered ensemble. The clothing was produced for the film by Western Costume Company, and their stampings and tagging are on the shirt and pants. The shirt's "Western Costume Co." tag reads "LOGAN, H. Jackson, Hero-1," and pants tag reads "LOGAN HERO-1." The pants also have the "Western Costume Co." stamping and UPC sticker on the interior of the waste band. "HERO" is a film industry term that indicates a costume or prop is detailed enough for closeup use and/or that it will be used as the main costume for a character. The costume is accompanied by a detailed letter of authenticity from The Golden Closet, which reads:

This outfit was worn in the opening sequence of the film when Logan and "Victor" (Liev Schreiber) are storming the beaches along with the US army during WWII. The letter is signed by The Golden Closet CEO Breanna Livie--she signs here as "Vice President Eastern Costume Company." Their LOAs are some of the most respected in the world of entertainment wardrobe, costumes and props. Starting in the the late 1940s, her grandfather, Charles James, worked as a costumer for the major studios for over 40 years. After many of the studios disbanded and sold off their costume and wardrobe departments in the 1970s, James and Breanna's father, James Livie, formed Costume Rentals Corporation, one of the first independent movie costume companies. And in 1990, James Livie formed Eastern Costume Company. In 1996, having gained her own extensive experience and familiarity with wardrobe and prop departments through her family, Breanna founded The Golden Closet.
