Offered is an incredible set of Johnny Cash's handprints in plaster from the legendary Palace Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky. Known to locals as "The Louisville Palace," the nearly 100 year old venue used to have a restaurant connected to it called Stage Door Johnnies in the 1990s (now it is simply the first-floor bar of the theatre). While it was operating, the restaurant featured a "wall of fame" of artists handprints in plaster. The offered set from the Man in Black was one such set. During a later renovation, the owner of The Palace eventually sold off a few of the handprints to lucky collectors. The plaster handprints also feature Johnny Cash's signature. The piece measures 12 1/2 x 14 inches and presents in Near Mint condition.
