Offered is a large swatch of carpeting from Elvis Presley's living room in Graceland. The carpeting was changed out in 1975, and longtime Graceland electrician George Coleman acquired this piece during the remodeling. This carpet stretches back to at least the 1960s and perhaps earlier.

The carpeting acts as its own letter of authenticity since George saw fit to write the following on the bottom: "This carpet was taken from the living room of Graceland in 1975. George Coleman."

Coleman worked at Graceland from the late 1950s until 1982, and over the years Elvis gave him a great many items to say thank you. In later years, George sold a large number of items to noted early Elvis collector Tom Salva. Tom's letter of authenticity accompanies. The carpeting measures 10 x 15 inches. Excellent condition.
