Offered is a St. Louis Cardinals scorecard signed by pitcher Bob Forsh's that is scored showing his no-hitter on April 16, 1978 against the Philadelphia Phillies. Some say the feat was achieved with the help of a questionable ruling by official scorer Neal Russo of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on a error by third baseman Ken Reitz off the bat of Garry Maddox, but every Cardinal fan presents agreed the ball that went under Reitz's glove should have been a routine play. Our rabid Cardinal fan consignor found Forsch that day and had him sign the offered scorecard. Forsch was a twenty-game winner in 1977, and he is fourth amongst all Cardinals pitcher in victories with 163. He is also the only player in team history to pitch more than one no-hitter, achieving it again in 1983.

Also includes a second scored scorecard (not signed) and the front page of the April 17, 1978, St. Louis Globe-Democrat with photo of Forsch and headline "No-hitter". LOA from Beckett Authentic. Excellent condition overall with expected wear from use.
