Encapsulated by Beckett Authentic. Offered is a tidy cut signature of Hall of Famer Rabbit Maranville. By the time of his 1935 retirement, Maranville played in a (then) record 23 seasons in the National League, a mark which was not broken until 1986 by Pete Rose. Interestingly, he began his career in 1914 with the Boston Braves--the same year Babe Ruth began across town with the Boston Red Sox--and Maranville finished his career back on the Boston Braves in 1935...with Babe Ruth. Maranville was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1954, mainly on the strength of his defensive abilities. Excellent condition.
