Offered is a rarely seen Chicago Bears "Alumni Ring" awarded to Bears Offensive Tackle Ted Albrecht. The ring was presented to Albrecht at the Bears annual alumni banquet in 2003. Albrecht was chosen in the first round of the 1977 NFL draft, and he played six seasons for the Chicago Bears as an offensive lineman. He made the All-Rookie team in 1977 and was a Pro Bowl alternate in 1979. His career was cut short in 1983 by serious back injury. Albrecht currently serves as an analyst for Northwestern University football radio broadcasts, which he has done for most of the last 40 years. The offered Sterling Silver size 12 ring weighs in at 38.8 grams. The face of the ring presents with 2 blue sapphires and 25 smaller diamonds surrounding the Bears "C" logo. "TERRYBERRY" and "STERLING" are stamped on the interior. These rings are very tough to find--this is a rare opportunity. Presents in stunning Near Mint condition in the original wooden presentation box with large "C" logo on the lid.
