Offered is an early 20th Century wooden folding seat from Detroit's Navin Field, later named Briggs Stadium in the 1930s. The offered seat is painted deep green with areas of chipping. A small plaque reads "BRIGGS STADIUM CIRCA 1940," but it is likely this style of seat was also employed as far back as the early days when it was known as Navin Field it the 1910s. The wooden chair with metal infrastructure measures 16 x 33 inches and presents in working condition, though it would take some lubrication to get it to fold up completely. That said, it's ready for display! Excellent condition with expected wear.
