Offered is an essential pair of 19th century books with great baseball content that belong in any serious collection. They are The American Boys Book of Sports and Games and Boy's Own Book. The latter is touted as "A Complete Encyclopedia of Athletic, Scientific, Outdoor and Indoor Sports with Illustrations." Both small hardback tomes dedicate sections to baseball and make wonderful display pieces. The books both suffer from some binding issues and moderate to heavy cover wear. Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
