Offered here is a 1950-2001 Baltimore Memorial Stadium gray wooden seat – with cast iron frame – marked with the number “37” in white. This seat shows much wear, and paint chipping (with shades of light green paint below), and has been fitted with two metal legs for display. Baltimore's War Memorial Stadium celebrated its updated, second opening in April of 1950. The Baltimore Colts would play there from 1953-1983, while the Orioles debuted in their new home on April 15, 1954 and remained in the stadium until 1991. Additionally, the Baltimore Ravens played in Memorial Stadium in 1996-1997, before the stadium was closed at the end of 1997. The stadium was demolished in 2001. Seating capacity was approximately 54,000 for baseball and 60,000 for football. The seat measures 29 inches tall x 27 inches wide and presents in working condition. Excellent condition.
