Offered is the #106 Tris Speaker entry from the 1912 S81 Large Silks issue which includes 25 baseball players. The numbering of the baseball set starts at number "89" and goes to "110." The "silk" premiums were acquired only by mail, in exchange for 25 Helmar Cigarettes coupons. The offered silk measures the standard 7 x 9 inches, and while it does have some edge issues that require a Very Good technical grade, the image area is spectacularly bold and clear.
