Offered is a Manny Ramirez Signed Boston Red Sox 2007 Sam Bat Game Used Bat acquired by Los Angeles Dodgers teammate Juan Castro. Castro spent 2009 and 2010 on the Dodgers with Manny, who has signed the bat to Castro's son Alex and added his Dodger's number "99" and "500 HRC" below his signature. Though Manny signed with his LA uniform number and referenced his 500th homer run achieved with the Dodgers after he joined the team in 2008, the offered bat has a production date of "6-18-07" putting this one first in Ramirez's possession during his last season with the Boston Red Sox in 2007. Manny can be seen using SAM bats of this style and with this knob/handle taping in the second half of 2007. The Sox, of course, won the World Series that year, and Ramirez had 143 hits and 20 home runs while hitting .296 in the regular season. Hologram sticker from Beckett Authentic.
