The offered reel of 8mm film captures over 3 minutes of Elvis Presley's 2:30 PM concert on April 9, 1972, at the Hampton Roads Coliseum in Hampton Roads, Virginia. The evening show that day was, of course, one of the shows that was filmed for Elvis' concert film Elvis on Tour. The footage appears to capture the first minutes of the concert, and although taken from a higher, slightly distant vantage point, the quality is strong, with good color. Elvis can be seen prowling the stage making his signature moves in his Red Pinwheel jumpsuit with the suit's cape. The series of shows in April 1972 are arguable some of Elvis' strongest ever, and the offered reel captures a precious few minutes of the magic. The reel measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter, and presents with no damage or wear. Near Mint condition.
