The offered 8 MM film contains over 4 minutes of Elvis Presley performing on September 9, 1970, at Veteran Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona. This Phoenix show is distinguished by its inclusion in the 1970 documentary film Elvis: That's the Way it Is. The concert appears during the opening credits of the film. The offered footage provides a further glimpse into the show that represented the very beginning of Elvis' first concert tour since 1957. The film captures Elvis in his absolute prime as a performer, triumphant in his Fringe jumpsuit with the green macrame belt. We get glimpses at several points in the show, with Elvis playing guitar and bowing toward the end of one number, perhaps near the end of the concert. The reel measures 7 inches in diameter, but the film itself take up only just more than an inch of it. The film appears to be intact and in clean shape. Near Mint condition.
