Offered are four 1930's 11 x 14 inch photos in period frames including Lou Gehrig, Joe Cronin, Carl Hubbell and Frank Demaree. The photos all have facsimile signatures. The back of each frame is numbered, and it is possible these were created to be used for some sort of premium or supplement, though their origin is unclear. The Gehrig is an impressive shot of Lou as he leaves the box after smashing a ball at Chicago's Comiskey Park in the 1930s. Frames shows distress from storage, and the photos are mounted to the interior mattes. Excellent condition overall.
