Offered is a scored program from September 9, 1965, for Sandy Koufax's forth no-hitter and HIS FIRST PERFECT GAME! Koufax achieved his perfecto by retiring all twenty-seven Chicago Cubs in order--ironically Cubs pitcher Bob Hendley threw a 1-hitter, as well! The program is scored neatly in pencil except for the last strikeout is noted in pen for emphasis. There are notes along the top of the scorebook page that read "Koufax-Perfect Game-only man to pitch 4 no hitters." Our consignor scored this HIMSELF during the game, even remembering his dad somewhat chiding him for paying too much attention to scoring the game! Thank goodness he stayed the course and created a wonderful relic from baseball history. Excellent condition with expected wear from use.
