Offered is a vitrtual time capsule in the form of a fan's scrapbook from the period before and after when Elvis Presley played at the Chicago Stadium on October 15, 1976. The highlight, of course, are the pair of ticket stubs from the show, but the scrapbook goes on and on with article after article detailing the run up to the show, reviews afterwards, stories about Elvis at other shows at the time, and even one story about how hard it was for a reporter to even get a ticket to cover the show. The book remains wonderfully preserved and was carefully and neatly assembled by a passionate Elvis fan. On the first page of the scrapbook are a modern 5 x 7 inch photo of Elvis performing and a smaller, period snapshot of Elvis in his limousine post-concert. Each ticket stub measures 2 x 4 ½ inches, and the scrapbook measures 10 x 12 inches. While the scrapbook pages present in well-preserved condition, the tickets and all other materials are adhered to the pages. The tickets come right out of the album without damage, but the backs have some small amount of albm page adhesive on them. Near Mint condition overall.
