Offered is a poster we have NEVER seen before--a HUGE 1936 Joe Louis vs Max Schmelling Radio Broadcast Poster promoting their historic bought originally scheduled for June 18, 1936. The fight was postponed to the next day, and Schmelling shocked the fans at Yankee Stadium by knocking Louis out in the 12th round. The poster features a boldly colorful image of the two boxers locked in battle and promotes the "Buick Listening Post" where fans could come and listen to the fight on the radio. The poster measures 38 x 50 inches and presents with edge wear with chipping and small tears and areas of staining. Great color. Excellent condition.
