Offered is a 1982-85 Bo Jackson Auburn University Warm Up Suit which he gave to fellow NFL player Tim Harris in 1989. While Jackson wore "34" during his Auburn career, the offered top an bottom have different uniform numbers. It has been reported that the team started giving Bo mismatched warm ups and the like because anything with his number "34" on them would be snatched from the locker room! The accompanying letter from the Tennessee Special Olympics verifies that the warm ups came from Tim Harris' family and that Tim received them from Jackson during their playing careers. The warm ups are the appropriate "Russell Athletic" brand and style for the period and still have their period tagging. The top has "095" written in the collar, and the pants have "32" as the number in the screen-printed "Auburn Tigers" logo on the pants. This ensemble would have been worn for practice and during team travel. Jackson finished his career at Auburn with every SEC award imaginable, as well as the 1985 Heisman Trophy, and 4,575 all-purpose yards and 45 total touchdowns, 43 rushing and two receiving, with a 6.6 yards per carry average. Jackson's football number 34 was officially retired at Auburn in a halftime ceremony on October 31, 1992.  His is one of only three numbers retired at Auburn. Both pieces present with expected wear but no distresses. Near Mint condition.
