The offered British Quad movie poster promotes Elvis Presley's 1966 film Spinout--the film was retitled California Holiday for the U.K. market because the phrase "spin out" in the British vernacular means to make something take longer than it should. The promoters may have overthought the title...the movie is only 93 minutes! The U.S. versions of most Elvis Presley movie posters are readily available, but the British Quad versions are much more scarce. The artwork is always distinct, and the color schemes are bold and vivacious making these U.K. posters highly sought after by collectors. The offered example is no exception! The poster measures 40 x 30 inches and presents with brilliant colors and wear mostly to the border areas with pin holes, small tears, scuffing and very small areas of paper loss. There is also some very small separation at a couple of the intersections of the original factory folds. Excellent condition.
