1945 Mildred Pierce Insert Movie Poster Starring Joan Crawford

Based on the 1941 novel by James M. Cain, 1945's Mildred Pierce was Crawford's first starring film for Warner Bros. after leaving Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and won her the Academy Award for Best Actress. The film noir crime drama was directed by Michael Curtiz (Casablanca and list of other classic films as long as your arm!) and co-starred Jack Carson and Zachary Scott.
