Offered is a Showbill magazine for the show Aidi signed boldly by Elton John. Aida was a musical based on the original opera of the same name. The music was written by Elton John and the lyrics by Tim Rice, in a reunion of the Lion King creative partners. The show previewed in Chicago and ran for more than four years on Broadway. The show eventually won four Tony Awards, including Best Original Score. The program was signed for Elton John superfan Sharon Kalinoski during a concert in mid-2000, though the Showbill is for the Chicago preview run of the show in January 2000. The piece is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The standard sized Showbill measures 5 3/8 x 8 1/2 inches and presents with just a bit of edge wear. Near Mint condition.
