If you're going to have one Elton John signed CD, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is it--and this one is signed by both he and Bernie Taupin! The 1973 album produced a string of hits including "Candle in the Wind", "Bennie and the Jets", "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" plus live favorites "Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding" and "Harmony". It cemented Elton John as an absolute superstar. When CDs came on the scene in a big way in the 1980s, this is the first one any Elton John fan had to buy. Elton has signed with an "X" after his name, as he often did, and Bernie signed right below him, creating a wonderful little display piece. The album is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The case presents with heavy wear and one of the tabs is missing. The case measures 5 1/2 x 5 inches. The plastic material is not an ideal autograph surface, but both signatures present without too much smearing. Excellent condition overall.
