1978 Elton John Signed Rocket Records Picture Sleeve for 45 RPM Single “EGO” and "Flinstone Boy"

Offered is an incredibly rare Elton John signed copy of his Rocket Records picture sleeve for his 45 RPM single "EGO" and "Flinstone Boy." The single was released in 1978, and though it was recorded during the sessions for the 1978 LP A Single Man, it was not included on the album. The single was not a big seller in the U.K. or the U.S., by Elton John's standards, making the appearance of a signed copy fairly special. The picture sleeve features two portraits of Elton by photographer Norman Parkinson, one vamping a bit in profile for "EGO," and the other a little sweeter on the "Flinstone Boy" side. The signed picture sleeve is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The sleeve measures 7 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches and presents with moderate wear but no distresses that bother the very nicely placed autograph. Excellent to Mint condition.
