Please Note:
A portion of the proceeds from sale of the Elton John lots, 229–281, will be donated to The Elton John Aids Foundation.

Offered is a HUGE six foot wide and three feet tall record store display promoting Elton John's 1988 album Reg Strikes Back. Also included in the original shipping box is a customized CD rack divider and counter card display for CD and cassette singles. The large floor display features the artwork from the CD booklet, the famous cover that repurposed Elton's old costumes and clothing. Many of the outfits would end up in the Sotheby's auction of more than 2,000 items Elton cleared out of his English mansion. The 18 inch tall counter card CD/cassette holder doesn't list the singles it will hold, but it most-likely ended up being "I Don't Wanna Go on with You Like That," which reached No. 2 on U.S. charts that year. Reg in the title, of course, refers to Elton's given name, Reginald, and the release was his self-proclaimed comeback album. The displays have never been used. Near Mint to Mint condition overall.
