Presented here is a handwritten arrangement for The Who's "You Better You Bet" done by Bassist John Entwistle, with a certificate of authenticity from the John Entwistle Foundation. The letter reads in part "This page contains handwritten notes and or music by John Entwistle. This page was found in our archive. Researching the archive did not reveal a mate for this page. It is possible that it is from an incomplete or larger work that was partially destroyed or disposed of. Everything written on this page was done so by John Entwistle."

The letter also surmises that the chart was probably used in the studio while recording the song, but that is unclear. The single was released in February 1981, from the album Face Dances. It was Top 10 in the U.K. and Top 20 in the U.S. The arrangement takes up an entire manuscript page, and Entwistle's writing is very neat and tidy. Several sections are scratched out, and notations "Intro," "All in" and "Chorus" are written down the left side. It's a fascinating artifact in the hand of one of the most respected musicians in rock and roll history. The manuscript page measures 9 x 11 1/2 inches and presents with no distresses. Near Mint condition.
