1985 People Magazine Cover Signed by Madonna

Offered is a May 13, 1985, People Magazine cover signed by Madonna "To Jason, Love Madonna." The cover image captures her during "The Virgin Tour" that was in progress when the issue was published. She was still touring on the strength of her first two albums, Madonna from 1983, and Like a Virgin in 1984. The 1984 album was a mega-hit, with hit singles "Like a Virgin," "Material Girl," and "Dress You Up," and the tour was, too, running from April 10 through June 11 and featured the Beastie Boys as the opening act. The offered magazine may have been signed at one of the tours 40 shows that Spring. The cover has been trimmed to a tidy 8 x 10 inches and presents with a horizontal fold that does not impede the autograph. Excellent condition.
