The offered Phil Spector signed check is signed in his flourishing, wild style, and is written on a "Phil Spector Productions" check for $5,400 on May 19, 1998. The included autograph book page is signed by Estelle Bennett  for all three Ronettes, "Ronettes /  Estelle / Nedra / Ronnie." On the back of the Ronettes page is the signature of Penny Nichols, a relatively obscure folk singer from the late-1960s. Nichols rubbed shoulders with a number of the same people in the music business as the Ronettes, including George Harrison and his wife. The presence of this signature certainly indicates the Estelle Bennett signed Ronettes signed page was acquired in the mid-1960s. Spector's influence on popular music cannot be overstated. His "wall of sound" production methods revolutionized the process of making records, and he worked with The Beatles, The Ronettes, The Righteous Brothers, John Lennon and George Harrison, to name a few. His signed items have become highly sought after, especially since his incarceration started in 2009. Also included is a photo postcard of the Ronettes. The check is accompanied by a letter  of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The check measures 8 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches, and the autograph book page measures 4 1/4 x 4 inches. The check presents with moderate wear with some stains, wrinkling and expected wear from bank processing. Excellent condition overall.
