The offered door sign from Britney Spears' dressing room at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards is signed by Britney. Her large signature incorporates her signature heart flourish. The sign's artwork, mounted on heavy gator board, proclaims that the room is for "Britney & Glam Squad Only! NO Exceptions!" Got it? Of course, the 2001 VMAs included Britney's famous performance of her single "I'm a slave 4 U," which included an elaborate dance number involving a live tiger and her "wearing" a large albino Burmese python for part of the song. Never a dull moment, Britney, on or off stage. The python's name was Banana-deal with it. The sign is accompanied by a signed letter from the woman who acquired the sign. Also included is a JIVE Records store display piece for Spear's 2001 album Britney, which included "I'm a Slave 4 U." The sign is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The sign measures 15 x 12 inches and presents with a number of scuffs and scratches and the stains in the corners on the reverse where it was adhered to the temporary "Glam Squad" habitat. Excellent condition.
