The offered original production illustration artwork was created for a 1990's Disney children's book starring Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and Santa Clause. The art was created by the Alvin Somerville White Studio in Burbank, California. The studio created many illustration projects for Disney in the period, including children's books, commemorative plates and other items featuring classic Disney characters like Mickey and Snow White, but also contemporary characters like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and The Beast. The offered illustration artwork features a scene from page "23" of the book Santa's Helpers where Mickey and the boys are trying to help Santa out of bind before midnight! The artwork includes multiple layers of black plate, color plate and background color cells that are combined to create the final piece. The professional rag art board measures 14 x 11 1/2 inches and presents with only a minor amount of wear from production use. Near Mint condition.
