Offered is a 1963 Vee-Jay Records 45 RPM "NOT FOR SALE" copy of "Peanuts" by The Four Seasons which has been signed by founding members of the band Franki Valli and Bob Gaudio. "Peanuts" was a single from their 1962 debut album Sherry & 11 Others. The included original sleeve is marked in typed lettering "VEE-JAY RECORDS PROMOTIONAL FOUR SEASONS NEW," and then "KSLR" is written in marker. These "NOT FOR SALE" copies were sent to radio stations in advance of a single's release and are, by definition, extremely scarce, especially for a song that didn't sell well. Valli and Gaudio have signed in ball point pen on the blank label on the reverse. The signed 45 is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The 45 measures 7 inches in diameter and presents in playable but in mid-grade condition.
