The offered "All Star Shows" Elvis concert promotional photo has been signed in the lighter area of the leg "To Julie Elvis Presley." The signed photo was acquired by Memphis car dealer Joseph Baier while delivering a pair of new cars to Elvis at Graceland in the summer of 1973. The accompanying letter from Mr. Baier details his encounter with Elvis:

In 1973 I had just moved to Memphis to buy part of Sid Carroll Pontica. My phone rang on my second day at the office, and it said, 'Mr. Baier, this is Elvis Presley. Do you have any Grad Prix's in stock?' Right I thought. This is a joke they are playing on the new guy. My response was 'yes sir, we have a few, what would you like?' 'I would like a black on e and kelly green one and a white one.' We have those, I said while trying to determine if this was a joke or not. 'Could you send them out to Graceland for me to look at them tomorrow?' Sure Mr. Presley, I will be in Atlanta, but I can send them out at 11 in the morning. I returned to the dealership on Monday and was met by the sales person all excited. We got in Graceland, and he picked out the Kelly Green and Black one for delivery the next day. We went to the gate and to our surprise it opened immediately for our caravan of four cars to enter. We were positioned in front to wait for Elvis to come out. Vernon Presley, Red West and his brother Sonny West along with a third person came out first followed by Elvis. I was standing by the side and Elvis came over to me and sort of poised looking back at the front door. Out comes Linda Thompson, dressed in Kelly Green, and the wife of Elvis' first cousin, the gate keeper of Graceland, dressed in black. A lot of disbelief that they would be dressed in the color of the cars seemed to be the theme of their conversation. At the same time I asked Elvis if he would hug our secretary, driver. As he put his arms around her she passed out. The whole scene was interesting to say the least. On one finger Elvis showed his Karate ring along with his horseshoe diamond ring on the other hand. I then gave him the paperwork for the two cars. It showed $12, 273.90 for both cars including the price, tax and delivery charges. He asked 'Is this a good price?' 'Yes, sir, they are very much in demand.' [The price was the list price from the factory without a discount.] Sonny West asked the third person in their group for Elvis' check book, wrote out the check, and gave it to Elvisto sign. Vernon Presley gave the picture of Elvis to him, and I asked he include my wife's name, 'To Julie Elvis Presley' on the pants leg.

You may never find a more detailed account of the acquisition of an Elvis signature! On the reverse of the picture, Sonny has written his name and phone number, as well. Also accompanying is a copy of the "E. A. Presley" check written on July 17, 1973, to "Sid Carroll Pontiac" for the amount listed above. The photo is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Athentic. The souvenir photo measures 11 x 14 inches and presents with some edge wear and one neat fold line across the middle. Near Mint condition.
