At the end of 1976, Elvis embarked on a quick five night mini-tour that included his December 28 show at Dallas' Memorial Auditorium. Reviews of his shows that year had reported lackluster performances, but by all accounts Elvis rallied for this last stretch of shows. He showed up in Dallas with his new girlfriend Ginger Alden, and he was ready to rock. The offered group of 16 photographs were taken that night, and they capture just about every facet of Elvis' performance that evening. He is seen wearing his "Chief" jumpsuit with the second "Chief" belt (that's for the jumpsuit folks!). There are several photos floating around from this show, but the offered group of period prints appear to be new to fold. The first eight photos have numbered labels on the reverse that go from 29946 to 29953. Also included is a period Kodak processing envelope, but it is unused. The photos measure 5 x 3 ½ inches and present in clean Near Mint condition.
