Offered is a stunning silver and green Mylar poster, with a large centered image of Elvis belting out a tune in a white studded jumpsuit. The poster is marked “Flashbacks Inc Fountain Valley, Calif. Pat. Pend.” in the lower right corner and “MGM” in the lower left. When Flashbacks, a California firm specializing in the highly reflective Mylar material, offered its revolutionary product with its high visual impact at a cost-effective price to the Colonel, he was immediately sold. This material provided the flashy punch to promote the shimmer of Elvis’ star and Flashbacks was employed to create the Mylar signage. For several years during the early to mid-1970s International/Hilton era of Elvis concerts, fans would often see Mylar banners and posters hanging all over lobbies and venues. The poster measures 30 by 21 inches. The poster presents with several crack and breaks to to mylar suface and some wrinkling. Presents much better, but technically Very Good condition.
