The offered "Filmways" 45 RPM 10-inch single-sided acetate contains a 60-second radio commercial promoting Elvis Presley's 1977 LP Moody Blue. The handwritten label reads, "Filmways 7-21-77 :60 sec. Elvis Promo Moody Blue." The date on the label is just two days after the album's released. The announcer blasts onto the microphone with appropriate enthusiasm to pitch Moody Blue and the single "Way Down." When Elvis passed away less than a month after Moody Blue was released on July 19, 1977, the sales went through the roof. The record was certified Gold in short order. The acetate measures 10 inches in diameter and presents with minor scuffing a few very minor scratches. Very Good condition. Playable condition.
