Offered is the much tougher MONO version of Elvis Presley's 1961 LP Something for Everybody, still sealed in its original shrink wrap. This is one of the earlier pressings that still has the advertisements for two "Compact 33" records on the back cover, Elvis by Request (Flaming Star) and "I Feel So Bad"/"Wild in the Country." Later pressings have ads for Elvis' Christmas Album and His Hand in Mine. Something for Everybody was Elvis' sixth studio album, and it was released in June 1961. Eleven of the twelve songs were recorded in one monster session on March 12, 1961, at RCA's Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee. Elvis was in the prime of his recording powers at that time, running the sessions and acting as his own producer in the studio, for all intents and purposes. In the United States, it peaked at number 1 on Billboard's Top Pop LPs chart. The album remained at #1 for three weeks. The album presents with some toning on the back cover and with a couple of corner dings. VG condition, minimally.
