Offered is a group of five 1970's replica copies of the original 78 RPM Elvis Presley singles Sun Records released in 1954 and 1955. It is unclear who created the set, but they were cause for confusion among less initiated collectors in the period after their release. Their appearance on the scene may have forced the continued scholarship on identifying original Elvis Sun 78s. A very nice looking set, but to the trained eye the paper stock and printing are much different. All that being said, these replicas are now nearly 50 years old and have become somewhat collectible themselves! The group of replicas includes:

  • Sun 209 “That’s All Right/Blue Moon of Kentucky”;
  • Sun 210 “Good Rockin’ Tonight/I Don’t Care if the Sun Don’t Shine”;
  • Sun 215 “Milkcow Blues Boogie/You’re A Heartbreaker”;
  • Sun 217 “Baby Let’s Play House/I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone”; and
  • Sun 223 “Mystery Train/I Forgot to Remember to Forget.”

Each record measures 10 inches in diameter and presents in very clean condition. NM condition.
