Included with this offering are three Elvis Presley LPs produced in 1965, with RCA “lightning bolt” logo stickers applied to the covers and album labels wherever the Nipper image appeared to make them appropriate for distribution in the UK at the time. They are: 1965 LPM-1707 Elvis' Golden Records, (sticker on front cover logo and album labels), 1965 inner sleeve; 1965 LSP-3450 Elvis for Everyone, (stickers on front cover logos and album labels); 1965 LPM-3338 Girl Happy (stickers on front and back cover logos and album labels), 2965 inner sleeve. The RCA “lightning bolt” logo was used for UK distribution after RCA's break with EMI (who owned the trademark rights to the Nipper/“His Master's Voice” image) by the late 1950s. Someone must have decided to send a batch of records for distribution in the UK, perhaps to servicemen stationed there, but whatever the reason, the Nipper image had to be covered to avoid any copyright infringements. The labels are printed on heavier paper and must have been applied by hand to neatly cover the Nipper image. The records all measure 12 inches in diameter and present with little wear. The records are Near Mint, perhaps just lesser, with the album sleeves a bit lesser.
